FAQ

How long are the classes?

Our classes are 2 ½ hours long, expanding to 3 hours as the work progresses. You will be a big part of a small group.

How many times a week do we meet?

Each class meets once a week and you will meet once a week outside of class with a scene partner to work on a scene and/or monologue together.

What is my commitment?

Your commitment is to show up for each class on time and be responsible to your scene partner for weekly work sessions. Occasionally there are events, exhibits or films that I request that you see. These are designed to help you expand your resources.

Do you have contracts?

No contracts.

We believe that it does more harm than good to have students in class who no longer want to be there. We also don’t believe you should be on the hook if an emergency arises and you are no longer able to continue to study. You are free to go at any time with no further commitment, financial or otherwise.

We also reserve the right to ask a student to leave if they are not keeping up with their work or commitment to the class as a whole.

Is it affordable?

Our classes are very affordable. They are designed that way in order to allow those with rich lives but less than full purses to study the craft of acting in a real way. Payments are monthly.

We are not looking to become a “mill to churn out actors”, but rather a boutique highly personalized approach that is rewarding for the student and the teacher. We do not publish our prices but will discuss them before you audit your free class.
