MR. AMENDA DIRECTS THREE BY TENNESSEE WILLIAMS
July 18th, 2018
THT's Artistic Director (Daniel Amenda) recent directed three one act plays written by Tennessee Williams at the Paramount Hudson Valley a 1200 seat venue. The press and audience alike celebrated its success. "Mr. Amenda's sensitive understanding of human nature equals that of Williams, and never does he allow himself to overshadow the playwright. That allows us to move in on these very human characters, and before you know it we stand beside them, understand them and see them in ourselves. It's the kind of theater that leaves one breathless..." --The Nation

THT Acting Studio is sad to announce the death of Robert Patterson. Robert Patterson was a master acting teacher who took the work of Sanford Meisner and made it a complete teachable process. He worked closely with THT Acting Studio and Theater in an advisory capacity. "Bob was nothing short of a genius when it came to acting and teaching. His abilities are evident in all of his students" said Daniel Amenda. Michael Fegley stated the "Robert Patterson was a major force in his acting career and has influenced his coaching and the success of his family in the business."
